Travel to Europe with Trafalgar
The 12-day Scenic Europe Tour starts at London Heathrow Airport, U.K. and ends at Paris De Gaulle Airport, France.
The sightseeing covers U.K. (London & Dover), Belgium (Bruges & Brussels), Germany (Cologne, Rhine Valley & Heidelberg),
Switzerland (Schaffhausen & Lucerne), Italy (Milan, Venice, Bologna, Rome, Florenece & Pisa, and France (Nice & Paris).

In London, you will visit Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. Then, a tourist bus will bring you to Dover for a short sea crossing to Calais, France.
Over the border, the bus will drive you through the Belgian countryside to Bruges where you can walk along the cobbled streets beside the canals.
then on to Brussels where orientation includes the Atomium, the Royal Palaces and a walk to see the Manneken Pis.
In Brussels, you will visit Belgium gothic cathedral. Then you will travel via Bonn, Beethoven’s birthplace, to Boppard for a relaxing Rhine cruise.
You will disembark in St. Goar and continue on by a bus to view Heidelberg Castle.
In Rhineland, the bus will drive you through the Black Forest to admire the mighty Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen.
Then you will continue into Switzerland, and soon arrive at lakeside Lucerne
In Lucerne, you will visit the Lion Monument and the old town walls and a Hidden Treasure as well.
In Venice, you will sightsee this city on a canal cruise by private motor launch to St. Mark’s Square,
where you will view the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge’s Palace before witnessing a demonstration of the ancient art of glass-blowing.
Later, you will cross the fertile Po Valley to Bologna and join the Autostrada del Sole across the forested Apennine Mountains to Rome.
In Rome, you will visit St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, which includes the moving Pieta of Michelangelo and St. Peter’s Square.
Then you will cross the Tiber to overlook the Forum and the mighty Colosseum and to see the Circus Maximus, scene of ‘Ben Hur’ style chariot races.
Later, you will visit the Sistine Chapel and the catacombs.
In Florence, you will travel through the hill towns of Umbria and the Chianti wine producing region of Tuscany to Florence,
cradle of the Renaissance. Then you will visit the cathedral, baptistery, Signoria Square and the Santa Croce Basilica.
On 2nd day in Florence, you will visit Pisa to see its intriguing Leaning Tower. From here you will continue past the marble quarries of Carrara
and along the Motorway of Flowers, passing Genoa, birthplace of Christopher Columbus, to the French border.
Soon after you visit the Principality of Monaco where you can see the Monte Carlo casinos.
In Nice, you could enjoy a stroll along the elegant Promenade des Anglais, shop in the boutiques or visit medieval St. Paul de Vence.
You will take the bullet train from Nice to Paris.
In Paris, the bus will drive you from the Place de la Concorde along the Champs Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe
and then ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower by elevator for amazing views over the city.
Next you will enjoy views of Notre Dame Cathedral and the Pont Alexandre III.
Afterwards, you will have time on your own to perhaps shop for next year ’s fashions, or relax in one of the chic pavement cafés.
