Mr. Tzi Fan (TF) Hau [

Mr. Hau is currently Senior Vice President of North
America Operations for OOCL (USA) Inc. He is responsible for all North American Alliances, terminals,
intermodal operations, equipment logistics, domestic marketing, trucking and
marine operations. The company is headquartered in San Ramon,
California, U.S.A. TF is also the head of ESI, a subsidiray of OOCL,
which specializes in domestic marketing. TF is also the president of MDS Trucking,
a trucking subsidiary of OOCL in North America. He serves as Executive Board
member of USMX, an industry organization in dealing with the union labor in
U.S. East and Gulf Coasts, Board member of OCEMA, an industry organization
focuses on operational and safety matters pertaining to the intermodal transportation
of ocean freight with the U.S., and Board member of both BNSF and CSXI Customer
Advisory Board. BNSF and CSXI are the largest rail carriers in the U.S.
TF has served with OOCL since 1969 immediately after his graduation from INC College of Merchant Marine Officers in Hong Kong. He began his career sailing for 9 years on board the OOL ships. He held Liberian Master License. Since coming ashore, he has worked in OOCL offices in Hong Kong, London and San Ramon NAT Headquarters. At present, he specializes in liner and container management, commercial services and operations, and logistics. He was born in Hong Kong, China in 1951 but currently resides with his wife, Ivy in Orinda, California, USA and the father of a daughter attending college.
